Richard cheered ALL students. Richard supported ALL students. He made lifelong friends in high school at Brooklyn Prep and then Iona Prep in New York. He made lifelong friends in college at Georgetown University. Richard cared. He ran for and won the race to became President of the Student Body his senior year at GU. He hired students at his beloved 1789 and Tombs and F.Scott's restaurants for decades. He donated to the students' causes and concerns.

He hired students from Georgetown of course, but from all over: George Washington, Hobart, American University, Holy Cross, and more. He hired student interns when he went on to design restaurants at the boutique firm he founded Persona Studios.
March for Our Lives is a grassroots movement of students in the United States and around the world. “Not one more,” the March’s Mission Statement reads. “We cannot allow one more child to be shot at school. We cannot allow one more teacher to make a choice to jump in front of a firing assault rifle to save the lives of students. We cannot allow one more family to wait for a call or text that never comes. Our schools are unsafe. Our children and teachers are dying. We must make it our top priority to save these lives.”
They demand common sense gun laws.
