We are proud to offer from the McCooey's collection, a limited edition print from the original painting and signed and numbered by the master marine artist, John Mecray. There are 5 left. Mr. Mecray keeps a secondary market list on all of his prints and although he shows $1400 as the price for this piece, we are offering it at a substantial discount. The American schooner "Westward" makes her European racing debut in the Baltic at the Keil Regatta of 1910. She is shown here ahead of the yachts Nordstern, Germania and Kaiser Wilhelm II's Meteor IV. A Deutschland class battleship is anchored in the distance -- a chilling symbol of the war to come.
NOTE: The original oil painting sold for approximately $50,000.00
